THS/PH21N-G70-FFV Integrated System is especially designed for the inspection of granular and powder products and the elimination of any contaminating metals, whether magnetic, non-magnetic or stainless-steel. The ejection system is fitted with an innovative deflector that features quick response, precise ejection of the contaminated product and high production flow rate.

Models including Test sample insertion hole must operate only with Hole plug installed.

Sensitivity check shall be carried out only when an explosive dust atmosphere is not present.

After sensitivity check re-install the Hole plug before starting operation.

It is important to check the efficiency (sensitivity and ejection of material) of the Metal Detector at regular intervals, performing a sensitivity test with reference samples.

Performing an automatic test

Calibration test in automatic mode for time saving and productivity increasing (MTI Parameter).

During the automatic test, the Metal Detector simulates the transit of the test sample by generating the same excitation signal produced at the last manual test, verifying the correct activation of the alarm and the ejector.

If the manual test has been triple (Test Fe, Test NFe, Test SS), the automatic test is performed by simulating the lowest signal among those related to the passage of the three test samples.

The first test after switching on the Metal Detector, a change in the Detection, Ejection and Current Product Speed parameters or a Fault condition, must be carried out manually by the operator using standard procedure.

Any subsequent automatic tests, defined according to the programming of MTI parameter, will be performed automatically by the Metal Detector.

Automatic tests are performed only if the signal provided by the samples during the previous manual test is at least 3dB. Otherwise, at the next scheduled test request, the Metal Detector will require a new manual test.
