Correctional facilities security for Inmates

A recent standard issued by U.S. Dep. of Justice (NIJ-STD-0601.02) established new requirements of Sensitivity, Discrimination and Immunity for Metal Detectors used in Law Enforcement and Correctional Facilities such as prisons. The three levels of Security specified by the standard (Large, Medium and Small object size) define different possible treatments for prison visitors or inmates. CEIA provides metal detectors specifically designed to comply with the different security levels of the standard as well with other international standard for Walk-Through Metal Detectors to be used in prisons.
